Nagavalli is a horror movie revolving around an ancient painting of Chandramukhi, also known as Nagavalli. It is won by Gayathri, a Bharatnatyam dancer, at a competition. She takes it to her house in Tirupati, where she lives with her parents, husband, and sister. Some years later, when Gowri, her youngest sister, is to be married, several strange incidents take place, leading to the wedding being called off. Fearing the painting’s role in the incidents, the family contacts Acharya Ramchandra Siddhanthi. The comedy movie shows how the painting and its history are investigated.
