Khushboo
Khushboo is a 1975 drama starring Jeetendra, Hema Malini and others. Kusum and Vrindavan get married to each other as children. Later, Vrindavan's father rejects Kusum as his daughter-in-law. She moves to a different village. After she grows up she refuses to marry anyone else as she considers herself to be Vrindavan's wife. But Vrindavan marries another girl and they have a baby. His wife dies. Kusum and Vrindavan meet again, but he fails to recognise her. They gradually come close and end up together.

Plot of Khushboo movie
Jeetendra, who plays Vrindavan in the movie, is betrothed in childhood to Hema Malini who plays Kusum. However, due to a plague in the village and a dispute between the families, they had to go their separate ways. Vrindavan gets married once again and his new wife dies while giving birth to a boy. Kusum remains unmarried her whole life as she considers herself to be Vrindavan’s wife. As fate would have it, their paths cross once again. Whether they accept each other and become reunited is revealed only in the climax of the movie.
