Fitoor is a Bollywood romantic movie based on a Great Expectations Novel by Charles Dickens. The classic tale of Fitoor movie is a romantic love story of Noor and Firdaus.
The movie beautifully explains two love stories. One reflects the dark fraud love with greedy means, which remains torture with a lady who dies with the same suffering and pain the man gave. Later in the movie, Noor is awarded an art scholarship, and thus he moves to Delhi. There, he meets Firdaus once again. Noor still has the same sentiments for her, while Firdaus is engaged to Bilal, a Pakistani diplomat.
Hazrat is still adamant about getting Firdaus to marry Bilal and forces her against her will. The movie brings out their past relationship with Hazrat. In her past, pregnant Hazart was abandoned by her boyfriend Mufti, and he fled with all of her jewels. She reveals that this is why she requested Firdaus let go of her love. Later, she employs various strategies to deter the couple (Firdaus and Noor).
The story takes a different turn from the love story of Noor and Firdaus. Ultimately, the antagonist dies, and Firdaus leaves Bilal to marry and be with Noor.
This film had beautiful visuals and excellent acting. Each frame has been meticulously captured. Also, editing is generally clear. The costumes and the art are intricate.
All of the actors did an excellent job of portraying their respective roles. This was the first time we saw a mother stop her daughter from seeking love because of her tragic experience. Given its heartbroken protagonist's challenges, the love drama is beautifully scripted and well-directed.
The heartbroken Begum, Tabu is electrifying. She commands every scene she participates in and does her part with extraordinary conviction. She has portrayed the character very well. Aditya Roy Kapoor exhibits genuine intensity while playing a challenging role with maturity.
Overall, the whole movie is a blockbuster in Bollywood. From dialogues to acting, everything was captivating about the Fitoor film.
