Ajana Path Plot

If anyone is interested in sheer romance and the concept of "love never dies," they will fall in love with the plot and story Ajana Path movie brings in for the viewers. The plot of this movie begins with the life of Bikram (played by Prosenjit Chatterjee), a jeep driver. Bikram earned his bread by helping travelers to travel in the hilly areas of a village in North East India. 

The story starts to unfold when Bikram starts falling in love with a native girl who happens to be the daughter of a vegetable vendor. Seema (played by Amrita Chatterjee) reciprocates the same feelings toward Bikram. However, a third man named Mr. Burman (played by Utpal Dutt) also sets sail for Seema.

Mr. Burman is the manager of Chowdhury Tea Estate, who deliberately wants Bikram out of the equation to claim Seema's love. The plot's climax appears when a backstory about Mr. Choudhary (played by Pran) is recited. Mr. Choudhary (a wealthy merchant who owns the Choudhury tea estate) had a son who fell in love with one of the tea estate workers. 

The heir of a wealthy tea estate merchant was head-over-heels for a mere laborer who worked there; this fact forced Mr. Choudhury to separate the two lovers. The trauma and pain eventually caused the death of Mr. Choudhary's diseased son. Little did Mr. Choudhury know that the girl his son loved was pregnant!

The twist that we all wait for unfolds when Bikram turns out to be the grandson of Mr. Choudhury. Years later, when Burman brought Bikram to Mr. Choudhary for his resistance and revolt against the tea estate business, Choudhury recognized his blood. From being a driver of a village to the heir of the Choudhury tea estate, Bikram's life was truly changed. He charges Mr.Burman for his misdeeds towards the tea estate workers and unveils Burman's true intentions eventually in front of Mr. Choudhury.
