Four months ago, Omkar and Sweetu from Yeu Kashi Tashi Me Nandayla were practically strangers. They met through their mothers and became friends. Their story has been quite the rollercoaster ride so far but the fans are loving it nonetheless. What began as a simple friendship, recently took a romantic turn and we’re really excited to find out what happens next. Their relationship changed from platonic to romantic in a few months and we find that really interesting. Read on.

Their story started when Omkar and Sweetu were introduced to each other by their mothers Shaku and Nalu. Their mothers are best friends and share a very close bond with each other’s families. When Omkar first saw Sweetu, he was immediately taken by her. Much to our amusement and Sweetu’s annoyance, Omkar kept irritating her playfully. Their repartee was quite entertaining to watch and we loved it.
Soon after, they became friends when Omkar saved Sweetu and Nalu from Mohit’s humiliation. Their bond grew deeper when Omkar saved Sweetu’s ailing father and took care of a visibly upset Sweetu. Eventually, they became really good friends and were always there for each other.
Things changed when Sweetu moved in with Omkar’s family and started working for them. Sweetu and Omkar were always joined at the hip and became inseparable. However, destiny had different plans for them. Omkar’s sister wanted him to marry Momo whereas Sweetu’s family wanted her to marry someone else. Keeping this in mind, they remained friends and nothing else.
It was only when Sweetu moved back to her place, Omkar realized he could not be without her. Her absence made him restless and he could not understand why. After deliberating over his feelings for a while, he finally realized he’s in love with her. Meanwhile, Sweetu too showed signs of harbouring feelings for Omkar.
Despite loving Sweetu a lot, Omkar never confessed because of familial reasons. But, he could not keep his feelings inside much longer. Promos have revealed that Omkar has finally confessed his love for Sweetu, that too in the most romantic way possible. Take a look.

They went from being strangers to friends, then from close friends to strangers again when Nalu asked them to break their friendship. Omkar eventually admitted to liking her meanwhile Sweetu showed signs of liking him back. Against his sister’s wishes, Omkar finally confessed his love for Sweetu and just like him, even we’re waiting to find out her response. What do you think she will say?
