Drew Barrymore supports Britney Spears during conservatorship

Britney Spears’ conservatorship battle has been harsh on her. However, Britney is not left alone in the dark because Drew Barrymore has revealed that she has been supporting Britney in private.

Drew said: “I appreciate all the people that have been supporting Britney on social media. I took a different turn. I’ve actually been sending her personal videos.”

Though Britney is getting enough support on social media, there could be some time gaps where she must have felt depressed about this battle. Drew Barrymore has indeed understood her friend Britney well, who has been sending “little smoke signals” acknowledging Drew’s effort to give her courage during the battle.

Drew mentioned that she had been sending messages and videos of encouragement by telling Britney that she herself id the key to her freedom. Drew also said that she wanted to support Spears and be there for her if she needs help in private.

Drew believed that her messages to Britney had to be sent in private rather than sharing it with her 14 million Instagram followers. In another statement, Drew said that she is “very invested” in the case.

A few days ago, Britney’s father and co-conservator, Jamie Spears filed documents and asked to end the conservatorship. According to sources, his petition will be heard in January.

On the other hand, Britney’s lawyer, Mathew S. Rosengart said, “The filing represents a massive victory for Ms. Spears as well as vindication for her.”
