In the royal court, Jalal gives in writing that Jodha's second baby would be given to Rukkaiya, and nobody, even Jodha, will ask about the rights of the child. Jalal is not satisfied with the deal. But Jodha convinces him that Jalal's children automatically become Rukkaiya's child, so there is nothing to worry about it. But Jalal asks Rukkaiya to write a deed that if she does not fulfill her duty as mother, then the agreement Jalal gave will automatically become invalid and Jodha will take back her child. Rukaiya writes, as asked, in the deed and signed it.
