Taapsee Pannu Breaks Silence On IT Raids, Says “Not So Sasti Anymore”

Not a lot of people speak their minds without worrying about the consequences. One such woman who carries her heart on her sleeves and always speaks her mind is Taapsee Pannu. Apart from her class  apart acting, this actress is widely known for being an unabashedly opinionated woman, and that’s one of the reasons we love her. Recently there have been reports of Income Tax raids happening at Taapsee’s property and the actress has finally broken her silence on this matter.

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and actress Taapsee Pannu made headlines after their name came under scrutiny over an alleged tax evasion scam. The duo has been questioned for over 5 hours and their properties have been raided for 3 consecutive days. Taapsee Pannu who is loved and praised for her savage comebacks has finally spoken on this matter. Check out her tweets below:

The actress can be seen throwing sass around like confetti in her thread of tweets. The first one talked about her “alleged” bungalow, the keys to which couldn’t be found despite a 3-day raid.

3 days of intense search of 3 things primarily
1. The keys of the “alleged” bungalow that I apparently own in Paris. Because summer holidays are around the corner

In the second tweet, she sarcastically spoke about the “alleged” receipt of 5 crores that the actress had received. Again no proofs were found to prove this.

In the 3rd and last tweet of the three, Taapsees jokingly took a dig at the Finance Minister, by saying they tried to find her memories aka any proofs of the alleged raid that happened in 2013.

She also joked about how she’s “Not so sasti anymore”. Meanwhile, several political leaders and celebrities reacted to the IT raids, including Rahul Gandhi and the Shiv Sena.
