Priyadarshan, one of the most loved and acclaimed directors of India, is turning 64 on January 30, 2021. Through his films, he has given us some of the best entertainment and most memorable characters. The National Award-winning director has excelled at not only comedy films but also in tragedy, action, and thriller genres. He has made his place prominent in both Hindi and Malayalam film industries, while also having directed some films in Tamil and Telugu languages.
Priyadarshan’s style of directing comedy films is a unique one. He excels at making the characters memorable, so much so, that even the characters from films older than two decades are still loved by the masses. The characters and the moments from his films also stay alive on social media through memes. One such film that he directed was Bhagam Bhag. Starring Akshay Kumar, Govinda, Paresh Rawal, and Lara Dutta in the lead roles, the film garnered a lot of love and lately, a cult status.
