Gangaa - Episode 1 - March 2, 2015 - Full Episode
Ganga shows her kite to her friends. Ganga's friends impressed by her kite tell her that she is winning the competition. That very moment, Murari walks in with Munakka, the sarpanch's son. Ganga's friends tell her that Munakka is a cheater and wins every competition by cheating. That very moment the announcer presents a brand new cycle in front of everybody and announces that the 'sarpanch' of the village Girdhaari Laal would award it to the winner of the 'patangbaazi compettetion. Ganga decides to win the competition, but her friends demotivate her. Ganga's friends tell her that Munakka has a much more costly kite and hence he would win the competition. As the competition starts, Ganga defeats Munakka and goes on to win the competition. Surprisingly, the sarpanch, gifts the cycle to his son Munakka and Ganga gets heartbroken by it. The Sarpanch further announces a prize money of rupees one thousand for Ganga. Varun asks Ganga not to accept the money and asks the Sarpanch to give Ganga the respect she deserves. Ganga regains her senses and sees dead bodies scattered around her everywhere. Somehow Ganga manages to catch her father's sight. Ganga tries to wake Varun up, but she fails to do so. Ganga's father-in-law tells her that both her father and husband passed away in the chaos. Ganga still does not lose any hope and makes rigorous efforts of waking her father Varun up. Ganga recalls the time she used to celebrate 'Holi' with her father. An innocent Ganga somehow regains her courage and walks up to her father-in-law. Pishima tells Ganga that there is no difference between her and the other widows. Pishima further tells Ganga that she will have to beg for her survival. Ganga gets scared at the scenario and tries to flee. Somehow, the widows grabs hold of Ganga and wipes out the 'sindoor' from her forehead. She watches Sagar fighting with his friends and also sees Ammaji trying to bribe his friends by giving them sweets when they threaten to leave Sagar alone. But due to Sagar's stubbornness, the boys leave anywas. Later, Ganga who has nowhere to go realizes that being in Sagar's house will be beneficial for her and she manages to butter Ammaji by just befriending Sagar who is Ammaji's favourite. Plot of Gangaa TV Show
Gangaa is a TV show that follows the life of Gangaa Shukla, a 7-year-old child who lives with her father, Varun Shukla. Varun fixes her marriage, but when both Varun and her husband are killed in Varanasi, she is left abandoned. Gangaa is then forced to live as a child widow until a kind advocate, Niranjan Chaturvedi, rescues Gangaa and adopts her. Gangaa is accepted by his family, including Niranjan's wife, Madhvi, and two sons, Pulkit and Sagar. Only Niranjan's mother, Kanta, continues to ill-treat her. The later seasons show her growing up and befriending Sagar. Gangaa’s life is full of ups and downs but she faces all odds head on with an unshakeable fortitude.
