An unfortunate event catapults Gunjan, who is a city-bred modern girl, to her far-off native village where she's to adjust with the ways of a small town and the regressive lifestyle of her new-found family. This is where she meets her cousin Rachana, a coy village girl, who's ambitious but terrified of breaking the traditions laid down by her authoritative father. Together, both the sisters embark on a journey as they swim through their youthful years stumbling upon overtures of young love.
