Gangaa feels bad as none of the elders are talking to her and seeing her upset, Sagar allows her to sit beside him but asks her not to disturb him. He however lets her hold his hands, and Gangaa soon goes to sleep. Meanwhile, Babli's father shows his evil side as he expresses his hatred for Babli and her mother, who is already dead. But he immediately begins to pretend like a saint when Madhvi enters the room. Next morning, Gangaa wakes up to join Ammaji for the holy bath, but Ammaji refuses to take her along. Later, Babli comes home with the news that she has topped in her examinations and the entire family begins to celebrate.
