In jail, Anupriya sees a bitter Malhar threatening to shoot a constable for maligning his name. When Kalyani pleads with Malhar that she is not ready for marriage, he tells her she deserves a punishment and qualifies for being a governess. So, he will marry her for revenge. Later, Malhar blackmails Kalyani into marrying him. Anupriya calls Kalyani, asking her to find the girl Malhar is to marry and stop her from destroying her life, as she feels Malhar has lost rationality.
