Rani returns home and informs everyone that Mathur saved her life. Ramchandra feels guilty that Rani was attacked because of him, but she assures him that it was not his fault. Shoroju tells everyone that it was Abhay, who ordered the attack on Rani. Rani orders Abhay and Sukumari to leave the house and tells them that all the property belongs to her. Shoroju, unable to tolerate Abhay's sins anymore, forsakes him in front of the whole family. Sukumari curses Rani for causing her such misery.
