Everybody gets extremely shocked when Shail tells that Mayank and Gunjan need to separete from each other. She goes on to say that Mayank and Gunjan should stay separate for atleast six months and should meet after that. Shail says that the two of them should make a decision after these six months if the two of them want to stay together or not. Gunjan and Mayank agree to Shail's decision and Gunjan's father decides to take her along with him. Gunjan and Mayank part ways and at the same time think about the times they had spent together. Shail later tells Seema that whatever she had done, she had done for the good of Mayank and Gunjan.
