Angelina Jolie introduces daughter Zahara to youth inspiration Amanda Gorman

Angelina Jolie, the world’s most beautiful woman and once upon a time highest paid actress, has been an inspiration to women all around the world. There are however, some other women and girls whom Angelina Jolie finds an inspiration as well. And the gorgeous mother did not miss the opportunity of introducing daughter Zahara Jolie-Pitt to other wonderful admirable personalities, in this case, Nobel Youth Laureate, Amanda Gorman.

How did the Meeting come about?

The 46 year old yet forever looking young actress was invited as the presenter to the Power of Women Event organised by the Lifetime. She was the one who introduced Amanda Gorman for the Power of Women honor by the Variety Magazine. The actual meeting between the young poet and the Hollywood actress happened at the red carpet before the event itself. Angelina Jolie, dressed in a long sleeved brown gown, was accompanied by daughter Zahara (16). Zahara wore a young hip look with a matching white top and trouser. It was at this red carpet that they together met with Amanda Gorman who was herself dressed in a pink off shoulder gown.

Who is Amanda Gorma?

Amanda Gorman, all but 23, came into focus when she recited her poem, ‘The Hill We Climb’ at the inauguration ceremony of President Joe Biden. In the words of Angelina Jolie herself, Amanda is the young woman of grace, who stepped fearlessly to the podium on inauguration day. Not just the youngest but the strongest voice we could ask for in that moment. The Amanda we see today might seem as if she leapt into our times, fully formed, to summon our better angels.

It is hard not to see in the social media which documented the interaction between the trio that the group enjoyed being in each other’s company. Given the experience and awards that was shared between Angelina Jolie and Amanda Gorman, Zahara makes the viewers envious of her luck.
