They are usually bright-eyed and cheerful and they love their families so much that they are always ready to sacrifice anything for them. A lot of Zee shows showcase an array of villains who dream to ruin these ladies’ lives and many times our favourite Zee bahus have taken it upon themselves to find ways out of different ploys of villains! Preeta in Kundali Bhagya

Preeta (Shraddha Arya) has always been a detective at heart, even if professionally she’s a doctor. Right in the beginning of the show, when she found Sherlyn (Ruhi Chaturvedi) suspicious, that is when her detective activities started. To date, she has successfully averted many crises and she has also recognised perpetrators of many ploys too. Even with Akshay, she was the one to find him suspicious and then unmask him! Now, she is on the hunt for Akshay’s killer and wants to find to expose him at the earliest. She doesn’t do it all alone though! Shrishti (Anjum Fakih) and Sammy (Abhishek Kapur) are always around to help her!

Pragya in Kumkum Bhagya

Pragya (Sriti Jha) has been a victim of Tanu’s (Leena Jumani) jealousy just because she got married to Abhi (Shabir Ahluwalia). This had led to several ploys and Pragya has always managed to remain victorious because of her detective skills and her alertness. When Abhi was in jail, she was also trying to find out ways to get him out and spy on Tanu to find out who’s helping her! Pragya is the ultimate detective bahu and she has managed to save the Mehra family from Aliya and Tanu’s tricks several times over the years!

Kalyani in Tujhse Hai Raabta

Malhar (Sehban Azim) is the police officer among the two but Kalyani (Reem Shaikh) has always teamed up with him and uncovered crimes against the family. She is a bright young lady who is fiercely protective of her adopted son Moksh and will do anything to keep him safe. Atharv and Samapada have committed many crimes against the family and Kalyani has been a driving force in catching them and making them confess all their wrongdoings! She should probably add a part-time police officer job to her resume!

Chahat in Qurbaan Hua

Chahat (Pratibha Ranta) is a bright young girl who is studying medicine. She is adored by her father Rahil Baig but Neel (Rajveer Singh) accuses him of his sister’s murder. Chahat wants to track her father down to prove that he’s innocent and Neel wants to do it to avenge his sister’s death. Both join forces to look for Dr Baig on the show and we see how Chahat is not only a great doctor and bahu, but also a great detective! She was also the one to unveil Kashmira’s plans of destroying the relationship between Neel and Chahat!

Renuka from Hamariwali Good News

Mukund (Shakti Anand) and Renuka (Juhi Parmar) were always not as perfect as they now seem. They had their fair share of differences and it was all because of Mukund’s step-sister Sumitra. She was the one to create differences between the couple and it got so bad that Mukund decided to divorce Renuka and even performed her last rites! But after he took her back, Renuka made it a point to uncover Sumitra and Alok’s ploys. She found out how Sumitra murdered Mukund’s mother for property and this made Mukund cur all ties with Sumitra!

Guddan in Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega

Guddan (Kanika Mann) marries AJ (Nishant Singh Malkani) to save her sister Revati after being tricked into it by her stepmother. But, police officer Vikram Rawat, who is Antara’s brother forces Guddan to stay and gather proof against AJ because he thinks that AJ is the one who killed his sister Antara. Guddan then tries her best to gather evidence but finds out that AJ is innocent. She sides with AJ when Vikram tries to arrest him as well. But the way Guddan hides her mission from the rest of the Jindal family and from her husband proves that she definitely has the mettle to be a secret agent, right? Guddan turns out to be the one to bring Antara’s real face in front of the Jindal family too!

Zoya in Qubool Hai
