Sanjay Dutt Diagnosed With Advanced Stage Of Lung Cancer

The actor is expected to go to the US for his cancer treatment immediately

In a big blow to the film industry, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has been diagnosed with stage three lung cancer. The actor was admitted in Lilavati Hospital on 8 August after he had complained of some breathing difficulties. A COVID19 test was also conducted, for which he tested negative. The actor returned home after his discharge on 10 August.

The news was shared by Bollywood trade analyst Komal Nahta. The Dutt family is expected to release an official statement tomorrow.

The Munnabhai MBBS actor shared a post on his social media account stating that he is taking a short break from films due to some health concerns. He also urged his well-wishers to not worry and to not unnecessarily speculate. He is expected to go abroad for his treatment immediately.

The 61-year-old actor will be seen in director Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2, the trailer of which was released today. He has also shot for a critical role in KGF: Chapter 2, the sequel to the south Indian blockbuster movie KGF.

Wishes have poured in from fans and the film fraternity for the actor’s speedy recovery.
