Bollywood Star Hrithik Roshan Was Responsible For Actress Meena’s Heartbreak?

Karoline Kamakshi actress Meena was one of the biggest actresses down South. The actress, who joined Instagram in May, last year, is quite active on social media and is often seen sharing pictures, treating her fans and followers with nostalgic photographs from her earlier days in the film industry. Recently, Meena took to the photo-sharing app to share a throwback picture with Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan. In the picture, Meena can be seen greeting the Bollywood star at his post-wedding ceremony while she writes on Instagram that she had a crush on our Greek God and her heart broke when he got married. Awe! Isn’t that a cute throwback post?

Meena’s caption read, “The day my heart broke 😄 met my all-time favorite in Bangalore on his post-wedding get together ❤❤ @hrithikroshan (sic)” Well, this picture was clicked back in 2000, when Hrithik tied the knot with Susanne Khan.

Interestingly, actress Meena is 3 years younger to Hrithik. This may come as a surprise since Meena is after all a veteran film actress with 38 years of experience. She has also shared screen space with biggies like, Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal and Mammootty, among others.

However, Meena made her debut in tamil cinema as a child artist with the film Nenjangal in 1982 at the age of 5 and continued to appear in films across various regional films industries. While that makes her a film veteran spanning over 38 years, it also makes us sometimes overlook the fact that Meena is still really young. It also explains why the actress is called Evergreen Star Meena.

Hrithik Roshan, on the other hand, has only 20 years of experience in the field. But given his dancing skills and hot bod, we can totally see why young actress Meena would have a crush on him, don’t you think so?

On the work front, Meena, who last appeared in ZEE5’s Karoline Kamakshi, will soon be seen in Superstar Rajinikanth’s much-anticipated film, Annaatthe. Besides Rajinikanth and Meena, the film also features Khushbu Sundar, Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj, Soori, and Sathish among others, in prominent roles. Annaatthe is scheduled to hit the big screens in 2021.
