Why Waste Our Time Now?, Asks Tejashri Pradhan As She Discusses Her Views On Social Media

Tejashri Pradhan has been making headlines for her stellar performance as Shubhra in Agga Bai Sasubai. Her character in the show has been garnering praise and appreciation for being extremely progressive unlike the stereotypical daughters-in-law found in most daily soaps. Just like her character Shubhra, Tejashri is known for making bold choices in her real life as well. In a recent interview with a popular publication, the actress spoke about her daily routine, her break from social media, and many such insights about her life during the lockdown.

Now that the shoot of her show has halted owing to the enforcement of the lockdown, Tejashri has gotten a much-needed break. Talking about the same, the actress said that she hasn’t managed to get much free time for herself for the past 12 years. The actress revealed that she was always occupied with work and hence the lockdown has come as a welcome break from work. Tejashri further said that she’s making productive use of her time at home. When asked about her daily routine, the actress said “I used to ignore my diet due to the busy shoot schedule and other professional commitments but this is a great opportunity to focus on my diet and health. I do yoga every day and spend the rest of the time watching web-series and movies.”

When asked about the one thing that she misses during the lockdown, the talented actress said “I seriously needed this kind of rest in my life. Even though it is a forced holiday, I’m really glad that I got to spend time with myself after years. But sometimes I miss stepping out of the house and walking around”.  Tejashri also revealed that she’s keeping herself away from social media. The actress doesn’t want to waste her time mindlessly on social media platforms and believes in utilising time productively instead. Unlike other celebs, Tejashri confessed that she’s doesn’t like going live often. “After the lockdown, we are going to use social media again. So, why waste our time now?”, quipped the actress.

Tejashri is optimistic and hopes to see a better future. She requested her fans to stay at home and urged everyone to follow the safety measures strictly. The actress further said, “If we follow the guidelines with discipline and stay at home, we will be able to go out sooner. But if we go out now, we will be forced to stay at home for much longer”.
