Why Timothée Chalamet calls out To Zendaya “celebrity crush”

Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya, who co-star in Dune, completed a Buzzfeed BFF quiz ahead of the film’s premiere, in which they were asked to pick their “famous crush.” Timothée instantly responded on behalf of his leading woman.

“Easy,” remarked the actor, “Tom Holland,” to which Zendaya responded with a cute giggle.

Timotheé Chalamet and Zendaya were also questioned on each other’s middle names and asked about their favourite food. The brief game gives spectators a glimpse into their friendship as well as additional details about their lives. Aside from Chalamet and Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Jason Momoa, Oscar Isaac, Stellan Skarsgard, Javier Bardem, Dave Bautista, and David Dastmalchian played significant roles in Dune, which was published globally on October 22. Denis Villeneuve directed the film, and Zendaya gained a celebrity after Tom Holland shared a photo of her after the Dune premiere on his Instagram account.

Tom Holland and Zendaya, officially confirmed their romance with a little PDA session in early July, things have clearly been blossoming between the two. Since then, they’ve not only shown that they’re still going strong by attending events together, but Tom recently took things to the next level by releasing a gorgeous black-and-white photo of his other half at the Dune premiere in London on Oct. 18. And if that wasn’t enough, Tom simply captioned her stunning look with a heart-eyes emoji on Instagram.

Since Tom joked in 2017 that Zendaya was his first celebrity obsession, it appears that things have come full circle. Even before the release of Spiderman: Homecoming in 2017, it was clear that Zendaya and her co-star, Tom Holland, had chemistry.

For years, the two denied they were dating, but after paparazzi photos of them kissing in a car surfaced, they can no longer deny it. The frosting on the cake was Tom’s beautiful birthday shoutout for Zendaya’s 25th birthday when he referred to her as his “MJ.” With further evidence pointing to this cute couple, it’s safe to say now they are official.
