Popular Marathi sitcom Dil Dosti Duniyadaari packed with young and energetic star cast which included Sakhi Gokhale, Amey Wagh, Suvrat Joshi, Pushkaraj Chirputkar, Swati Gokhle, and Swanandi Tikekar had a successful run. Even though the show ended in 2015, it is still remembered as one of the most popular youth shows till date. 1. Suvrat Joshi aka Sujay Thakur

Suvrat played Sujay on the show, who is a workaholic and studious by nature. He is forever stressed about his job as he has a demanding one. We all know that Suvrat married his Dil Dosti Duniyadaari co-star Sakhi Gokhle, who played the sanskaari Resham on the show. Recently, Suvrat was seen in the Marathi blockbuster, Shikari. Post the show, he has also acted in films like Party, Dokyala Shot. Moreover, Sujay is currently pursuing a few Marathi dramas and has been busy hosting many award shows.

2. Swanandi Tikekar aka Meenal Shevale

Swanandi Tikear played the bold and daring girl Meena who loves to be the center of attention and loses her cool if anyone ignores her even for a bit. Swanandi is now married to an artist named Ashish Deshpande and is living her dream life with her beloved. On the professional front, she is acting in several Marathi plays. Some of her popular plays include Ek Shoonya Teen and Don’t Worry Be Happy.

3. Amey Wagh aka Kaivalya Katkar

Amey Wagh portrayed the character of the carefree and cynical Kaivalya on the show. He is an aspiring musician and a charmer who can woo any girl with his straightforward approach towards life. Amey is one of the most versatile young actors in the Marathi industry and post the show, has been seen in several films such as Shutter, Muramba, Faster Fene, High Jack, Girlfriend and Dhurala, which is his recent film. This super talented young lad was also part of two popular Hindi web series, last year as well as this year.

4. Pushkaraj Chirputkar aka Aashutosh Haldankar

Pushkaraj played Aashutosh, a down-to-earth guy who is always ready to help others. He is a bit of a pushover and has an over-possessive girlfriend from whom he tries to hide things. After garnering fame and fans through the show, Pushkaraj went on to do films like Baapjanma, Tujha Tu Majha Mi, etc. He was also seen in the Hindi movie, Budhiya Singh – Born to Run. Puskaraj also hosts many award shows and soon we will get to see him in Medium Spicy, a Marathi film that is scheduled to release in 2020.

5. Sakhi Gokhle aka Reshma Patil

Sakhi beautifully portrayed the shy and introvert Reshma on the show. Reshma is helpful, kind-hearted and everyone’s secret keeper. She is shown to have a troubled married life on-screen but the actress’s off-screen marriage with Suvrat is as blissful as it can get, touchwood! Sakhee is an all-rounder, as she is a professional photographer, writer, and actress. She writes articles in Maitrin for the newspaper Sakal Pune. She has also done still photography for the poster of the play Laginghai. A while back, this talented girl was pursuing a masters in Art Curation in the UK.

6. Pooja Thombre aka Ana Mathews

Pooja played the role of the cute and bubbly Ana on the sh0w. Ana is known to be absent-minded, innocent and is a darling of the entire group. Post the show, Pooja also worked in various plays including Amar Photo Studio. The popular actress recently got engaged to her long-time boyfriend Kunal Ahirrao.
