Director Bhaskar gave us Bommarillu, an iconic cinema 14 years ago. Its title is now the prefix to his name. Bommarillu is one of the few wholesome films that never gets old and its actors Siddharth and Genelia Deshmukh haven’t gotten over it either. After all, the movie is that great and no matter how many times you watch it, you’ll always be ready for a re-watch.

Watch the film here:

Because of the lockdown, most of our favourite actors are home quarantined just like us and can be seen sharing bits and pieces of their everyday life on social media. Along with sharing stories of her cooking delicious food straight from her farm and taking care of the family, Genelia Deshmukh has been catching up with her buddies. Recently, she rang up her Bommarillu co-star, Siddharth.

During their conversation, Genelia embraced the Hasini in her and decided to ring up ‘Siddhu’. He waved his hand in extreme excitement and referred to Genelia as Hasini. Later, Genelia shared a small video of the conversation and played the popular song Appudo Ippudo in the background. She captioned it with the iconic dialogue, “Ante na? Inkem Kavali“.

On the professional front, Siddharth will be seen in a Tamil-Hindi bilingual film titled Shaitan Ka Bachcha. Genelia is working towards a new venture with her husband, which aims to provide plant-based mock meat for a healthier lifestyle. We’re hoping to see more of them together, soon.
