Everyone around has been talking about all things retro, from wall clocks to traditions and everything in between. When vintage is clearly the flavour of the season, how could you not be watching the good old films? Watch these films and catch up on all the old fashion or sit with your folks and call it a family day!

First up on our list is Yuvaraju starring the legendary Akkineni Nageshwar Rao, Sujatha and Jayasudha. If you think love stories are complicated in this generation, you need to watch this 1982 film. The plot revolves around one man who decides to marry one but ends falling in love with the other, who has amnesia. His would-be finds out about the love affair and his lover leaves him, after recalling her past. What happens next? Find out here.

Abhimanavathi is a 1975 film starring Krishna, Vanisri, G. Varalakshmi, Sarath Babu, Prabhakara Reddy, Ravi Kondala Rao in the lead roles. The romantic drama will surely take you back in time with its ‘old-school’ charm. Watch the film here.

Gundammagari Krishnulu is led by Nirmalamma, Rajendra Prasad and Subhalekha Sudhakar. The story is that of a grandmother who has decided to marry off her two grandsons. The elder one rebels for love marriage and rejects her idea of an arranged marriage. The younger one, however, is excited to tie the knot and falls for the first girl that meets during Pelli choopulu. But many troubles land upon them and their path to marriage become a maze, resulting in a laugh-riot. Watch the film here.

Sree Ranga Neetulu is yet another comedy starring Akkineni Nagarjuna and Sridevi. The film, which released in 1983, is an adaptation of the 1967 film, Ooty Varai Uravu in Tamil. The plot revolves around a rather simplistic family but over a period of time, one realises the complexities and the complication of each member. Watch it here.

Devudichina Koduku, released in 1980, is led by Sridevi and Krishna. While the love story between the two characters goes smoothly, the main conflict begins with the couple that has to deal with an irresponsible child. Krishna’s character, in that time, becomes the Devudichina Koduku (Godsent child) to them. Watch this movie here.

Yet another film starring Krishna and Sridevi is Panchanikapuram which released in 1985. The story starts as a typical boy-meets-girl saga. He saves her from the goons, girl falls for boy and they get married. However, that is only one part of the story, the real film begins as they start having troubles in the marriage and decide to separate. The girl is convinced about her baby’s death but her child was secretly being raised by her husband. Find your answer by watching the film here.

Last on our list, for now, is Pilla Zamindar starring Jayasudha,  Akkineni Nageshwar Rao, Mohan Babu, Prabhakar Reddy and more. The plot is rather intriguing and highly confusing. Everyone is pretending to be someone they are not and reveals secrets just in time. The film released in 1980 and is an out-and-out comedy. Watch the film here.
