Tamannaah Bhatia to romance Megastar Chiranjeevi on the big screen?

Tamannaah Bhatia, after the success of Maestro, has been up for another big project. It has been reported that the actress was approached for megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film ‘Bhola Shankar’. This upcoming film is to be a remake of the Tamil blockbuster ‘Vedalam’, which featured Ajith Kumar and Shruti Haasan. Tamannaah Bhatia can be seen as the female lead in Bhola Shankar, alongside Chiranjeevi.

On the occasion of Chiranjeevi’s birthday, Mahesh Babu, one of Telugu’s top heroes, released the motion poster as well as the title on Twitter, thus creating a buzz around the movie. The poster features the characteristics of Lord Shiva and the City of Joy, Calcutta. Directed by Meher Ramesh, Bhola Shankar will feature Chiranjeevi stepping into the shoes of Ajith Kumar from the Tamil version.  

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia is being considered to portray the female lead opposite Chiranjeevi in the film, according to recent sources. Tamannaah will likely portray an advocate, a role performed by Shruti Haasan in the Tamil adaptation. An official statement on the subject is anticipated soon.

It’s time for Tamannaah Bhatia to star in yet another big-budget picture. More than three years after landing the role of a dancer in ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy,’ the star actress has been cast as the female protagonist in ‘Bhola Shankar.’ If that is the case, this will mark as the second collaboration of the megastar Chiranjeevi with Tamannaah Bhatia. 

Chiranjeevi is presently working on Koratala Siva’s film “Acharya.” Aside from that, he’s working on GodFather, a Telugu adaptation of the Malayalam film “Lucifer,” which was released in 2019.

Speaking of Tamannaah Bhatia, whose Telugu blockbuster Maestro was released last week, is currently working on Shashanka Ghosh’s Hindi film Plan A Plan B, Gurthunda Seethakalam (a Love Mocktail adaptation), Bole Chudiyan, and the long-awaited ‘That is Mahalakshmi’ (Hindi remake, Queen).
