The Mumbai Police is currently investigating the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput who it believes died by suicide on June 14. His girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty has been named in an FIR filed by Sushant’s father in Patna for abetment to suicide. Rhea has since then moved the Supreme Court, asking that the FIR be transferred to Mumbai. Meanwhile, the Maharashtra Government has made clear that Mumbai Police is adept at handling the case and that it won’t be transferred to the CBI.
