SSR Case: One NCB Member And Two Prisoners At Byculla Jail Tested Positive For Coronavirus

Jail officials said that Rhea Chakraborty had tested negative before getting arrested but she will be tested once again in the coming days.

Recently, actress Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) after several drug-related chats and connections were found. Rhea is currently serving imprisonment in Byculla jail. According to the latest news reports, one of the members of SIT (Special Investigating Team) has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. Also, two prisoners in Byculla jail have tested positive. The NCB officials said that they have received the antigen test report of the official who tested positive. The investigating authority also confirmed that other members of the team will be tested and necessary protocols will be followed. Due to this, the NCB has sent back Shruti Modi who was supposed to get interrogated today. 

Rhea Chakraborty had tested negative before getting arrested, however, sources claim that she will be tested once again in the coming days. Byculla jail officials said that Rhea has been kept in quarantine ever since she has entered the jail.
