The film ‘Roohi’ witnessed a rise in earnings over the weekend as people had been waiting to watch a movie in the theatres, for a long time. Have a look at the details on the film and its earnings here.

Dinesh Vijan’s Roohi has been one of the most anticipated films of 2021. The film has been running at the box-office currently and is the first big-budget film to hit the theatres, ever since the pandemic took over. This horror comedy stars Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma in lead roles. On the first day of its release, Roohi made close to ₹2.90 crores at the box office and has also witnessed a surge in the collection over the weekend. However, the film has only been working well in huge cities while small towns and areas have been witnessing a low turn-up. The pandemic has undoubtedly affected the entertainment industry and the condition is expected to stay the same for a while now.

Here is a look at the ZEE5 video with details related to Roohi and its box-office collection over the last four days:

Bollywood film Roohi starring Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Varun Sharma hit the theatres last Thursday and is the first big-budget film to release on the big screen, ever since the COVID 19 pandemic took over in 2020. The film has been making decent money when compared to the business witnessed at the box-office so far but it has still been disappointing according to most film analysts. The film made ₹2.90 crores on the first day of release and dropped down in numbers on the next day as the collection stood at ₹2.90 crores. The decline is reportedly due to the below-average reviews from most critics and also has a lot to do with social media reaction.

Over the weekend, the film witnessed a slight rise in the statistics as most of the people had been waiting for the weekend to arrive. People usually step out for entertainment over the weekends, and traditionally, cinemas have proven to be one of the most preferred options, especially in metropolitan cities. On Saturday, the film Roohi made ₹3.20 crores and on Sunday, rose up to a solid ₹3.45 crores. Since the film has still been running at the box-office, it is expected to make more in the next couple of days.
