The Bad Boy director is all set to complete the shoot of his upcoming film based on Mahatma Gandhi.

Film Director Rajkumar Santoshi is popularly known for his films like Damini, Ghatak: Lethal, and more. He has also written several films over the years such as Phata Poster Nikla Hero and Bad Boy. According to recent reports, he is all set to direct a new project based on Mahatma Gandhi. Here’s everything you need to know about this film.

Rajkumar Santoshi recently shot his upcoming film based on a theatre play. The film is titled Mahatma vs Godse which is based on a play of the same name. The film has several theatre and film actors like Asif Zakariya, Anup Soni and Pawan Chopra. The film will be set up in the pre and post-independence era in India. The shoot of the film has almost been completed. The remaining shoot will resume after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rajkumar Santoshi’s films

Rajkumar Santoshi recently directed the film Bad Boy starring Namashi Chakraborty,  Amrin Qureshi in the lead roles. The film marked the debut of Namashi and Amrin. It also starred actors like Saswata Chatterjee, Johnny Lever,  Rajesh Sharma, and Shiv Aryan.

He had also directed the film titled Battle of Saragarhi which starred Randeep Hooda in the lead role. Randeep had played the role of Havildar Ishar Singh. However, the film never made it to theatres. Randeep had worked very hard for the film and even grew his beard as a Sikh in the film.
