After years of speculation, Akshay Kumar will begin filming for the OMG: Oh My God! sequel in October. The actor is currently shooting for Cinderella and has planned a 20 days shoot schedule for his drama film. Reports suggest that along with Akshay Kumar, Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi will also be a part of the upcoming flick.

The involvement of Pankaj Tripathi in the film has flabbergasted all the fans and moviegoers. Reportedly, Paresh Rawal’s departure from the project has left fans wondering. However, breaking all the rumors and false news about the cast of the film, makers of the film have reported to a leading publication that they would love to include Paresh Rawal for the film, but the actor had felt that he was a major reason behind the success of the first part of the film and therefore he charged a hefty fee for the same. Makers added that by giving him a big fee for the same, the entire budget of the film would go haywire.

Paresh Rawal then offered a profit-sharing deal however, even that didn’t work out as there were multiple producers involved in the project. The makers tried to persuade Paresh but to no avail, the actor was rigid about his fee and decided to part ways as he strongly felt that he deserved more than what he was offered.

Following this episode the makers decided to cast Pankaj Tripathi, makers are convinced that the Mimi actor will bring in the necessary flavors of the film.
