Muddha Mandaram Weekly Update: Akhilandeswari Is Eager To Find Parvathi’s Brother

The week has just begun and before you catch up with all that’s about to happen, let’s take a look at what happened in the past week. The Telugu serial Muddha Mandaram continued to be eventful and kept surprising us from time to time with all the drama. If you missed any bit of this Telugu TV show in the week starting May 27, 2019, we bring you a complete update of what happened with Akhilandeswari (played by Haritha), Abhi and Soundarya (played by Pavan Sae and Thanuja Gowda, respectively). It all starts with Akhilandeswari visiting the temple on the auspicious occasion of Chandra Darshanam, along with Bhavani and Krish. Other than praying for her family, she pleads to the gods to make her meet Gani soon.

On Sarsu’s demand, Gani, Soundarya and Chandrika too, visit the same temple to pray for a better life. Sarsu tells her daughter to pray for a good husband.

Everyone heads to a counter to register their names for the archanam. But the person on the counter informs them that only one name can be registered because there is a huge crowd. Soundarya suggests that they should enter the name of Gani — Ganesh Meghoti.

The pooja begins and everyone is seated at the temple. Akhilandeswari sits closer to the idol and gets special archanam. This ticks off Soundarya and she yells asking why rich people are getting special treatment.

Later, during the archanam, the priest calls out the names of all the registered devotees and Akhilandeswari is stunned to hear the name ‘Ganesh Meghoti’. She turns around in the hope of finding Ganesh, Parvathi’s brother, but fails.

Krish suggests that they check with the person at the counter about Gani, a.k.a., Ganesh Meghoti. However, he tells them that he will inform Akhilandeswari if he sees Gani again.

Akhilandeswari decides to distribute the prasadam herself. Gani sees Soundarya queue up for it and covers her face with a thick layer of turmeric paste. He does this because he doesn’t want to Akhilandeswari to see Soundarya’s face.

Post sundown, the priest gathers everyone near a large bowl of water where one is supposed to look at the moon and pray. Soundarya asks for a good husband, but sees Abhi’s reflection in the water. Akhilandeswari prays to meet Gani, but sees Pedda Babu instead.

All the devotees return home. While Gani is watching the news, Soundarya comes in and changes the channel. She tells her father about Abhi, the “dongasachinnodu” who keeps troubling her.

Chandrika visits Soundarya at night and switches the channel back to Abhi’s news show. She tells Soundarya that Abhi isn’t such a bad guy after all. This makes Soundarya question her feelings for Abhi once again.

The next day in college, Soundarya’s classmate comes to her in the campus and asks for a love letter. Soundarya writes it but when she find out it’s meant for for Abhi, she angrily tears it up.

That’s when Chaitra decides to take her revenge. She gathers everyone to play a game of ‘Truth And Dare’. There Soundarya dares Abhi to reveal the truth about him being a thief. And Abhi happily accepts the challenge.
