Here are ways to destroy the sloth bear within you and begin the week on a high note

After a delightful weekend, the thought of getting back to the daily grind can be daunting. But Mondays aren’t all that bad. With the right spirit, you can kick-start the week with a smile on your face and a spring in your step. If you don’t believe us, then take a cue from these actors, who give us fitness goals and prove to be a huge inspiration.

Here are some easy ways to conquer your Monday blues!

1. Sleep early

The easiest way to beat the Monday Blues is to wake up without wanting to sleep more. Hit the bed on Sunday night  than your usual bed time so you feel refreshed. This will also help you to start your week on a positive note.

2. Cycle away!

Cycling is one of the easiest ways to stay fit, burn calories and keep the child within you alive. So, the next time, you are bored of hitting the gym, opt for cycling. Even our favourite actors Diganth Manchale and Kiccha Sudeep enjoy it! Take a look at them.

3. Let’s dance.

Listen to music while getting ready! Time WILL slow down. Or at least you’ll feel that way! Play music that calms you or makes you feel happy. Everyone has their own taste. Even loud numbers or dancy songs can make you feel calm. Play some music and forget about the world!

4. No pain, no gain

These words prove that if you don’t make an effort you will not get what you aspire for. This is true in every sphere of life — whether it’s professional or personal. Take one look at actor Puneeth Rajkumar and Priyanka Upendra’s workout videos and you realise the significance of the words — no pain, no gain. After all, a little effort goes a long way in helping you achieve your goals.

5. Read like there’s no tomorrow

If you’re not into the habit of reading, that’s perfectly fine! Develop the habit gradually. Read a motivating short story a day. If not a motivational story, read for half an hour every day at a particular time. Reading will not only exercise your brain but also feed you with information and improve your vocabulary.
