After the humongous success of Saqib Saleem-headlined Rangbaaz, the ZEE5 Original web series is set to return with a second season. Actor Jimmy Sheirgill, star of films like Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3, Happy Bhag Jayegi amongst others, has been roped in to play the lead in this action-packed drama. Written by Siddharth Mishra (who also wrote Season 1), directed by Sachin Pathak and produced by JAR Productions, Rangbaaz Season 2, is back with another story of a gangster. The nine-episode series is an unusual tale of a dream gone wrong. It is a fast-paced, crime thriller which encompasses caste supremacy and political rivalry of a gangster who was also referred to as ‘Robinhood’ by many.

Jimmy essays the role of Amarpal Singh in Rangbaaz 2. Speaking about his character, he said in a statement,  “The script of Rangbaaz Season 2 is gritty and action-packed. It is a challenging role inspired from a true story. We started shooting early this month. Season 1 created a lot of noise and fan following. Our attempt with Season 2 is the same. It will soon premiere on ZEE5. Watch out.”

Actor Sushant Singh joins Rangbaaz 2 in a key role. Going by this still, his character and Amarpal are quite close.

Zeeshan Ayyub, who gave us a laughter attack with his impeccable comic timing in Tanu Weds Manu Returns, is a part of Rangbaaz 2, too. Needless to mention, he plays a cop.

Saat Phere star Sharad Kelkar is one of those who have made a successful transition from the small screen to the silver screen and now onto the web. He will be portraying an exciting role in Rangbaaz 2.

Harsh Chhaya is a veteran actor who has been a part of several Bollywood films and TV shows. He seems to be playing a politician in Rangbaaz 2.
