Zee TV show Kumkum Bhagya is getting meatier by the day! The show starring Sriti Jha, Shabir Ahluwalia, Krishna Kaul and Mugdha Chaphekar recently welcomed Pooja Banerjee in the team. For the uninitiated, the show’s current plot revolves around Abhishek Prem Mehra and Pragya Arora’s twin daughters Rhea and Prachi. Having grown apart after their parent’s separation, Prachi and Rhea are unaware of their sisterly bond. But they have both set their hearts on the same guy, Ranbir! But the most surprising fact is that Ranbir is set to marry and it is not with either of the sisters.

In a frenzy of events, to get Ranbir to like her more, Rhea had plotted to send him to the jail on a false accusation of molestation. Maya was her friend and she agreed to do it, but Rhea got trapped in her own cobweb. Maya started liking Ranbir and her uncle pressurised him into marrying his niece. And now Ranbir’s fate is sealed and his future is doomed.

But like for every knight in distress, there is a damsel in shining armour which in Ranbir’s case is Prachi! Prachi has come in the guise of a dancer at the wedding but she is there to stop it.
