Veteran actor Kishore Nandlaskar passed away on Tuesday due to COVID-19.

With the rise of COVID-19 cases in India, many Bollywood celebrities have been getting diagnosed with the same. Since 2020, several Bollywood actors have passed away due to COVID-19. The industry has been devastated by these deaths. On Tuesday, April 20, veteran actor Kishore Nandlaskar passed away due to the deadly virus. Kishore Nandlaskar passes away due to COVID-19

Kishore Nandlaskar was popularly known for his roles in films like Purna Satya, Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hai and several Marathi films. The actor was 81 when he was diagnosed with the deadly illness and passed away due to complications. Last week, he was admitted to the Global COVID-19 centre in Thane as soon as he was diagnosed. His grandson Anish told PTI that he passed away around 12:30 pm on Tuesday. He lived with his wife and three sons.

The actor made his debut in 1982 with the Marathi film Navare Sagle Gadhav. He was later seen in several Marathi films like Bhavishyachi Aishi Taishi: The Prediction, Gaon Thor Pudhari Chor and Jara Japun Kara. He was also seen in some notable Bollywood films like Govinda’s Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain, Sanjay Dutt’s Vaastav, Ajay Devgn’s Singham and Simmba starring Ranveer Singh. The actor was last seen in Mahesh Manjrekar’s series 1962: The War In The Hills.

Several celebrities remembered him on social media. Actor Manoj Bajpayee wrote that the news was extremely sad. Amruta Subhash also remembered the actor. She wrote that the industry has lost a great actor. She added that his sense of timing was unmatchable. Take a look at the tweets here.
