Jacqueline Fernandez DID NOT Show Up Before Enforcement Directorate? Actress Was Expected To Appear Before ED In Money Laundering Case

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez was summoned by Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case involving an alleged multi-crore extortion racket led by Sukesh Chandrashekar. He has been accused of extortion amounting to approximately Rs 200 crore and reportedly has multiple other extortion cases against him. Jacqueline was summoned by ED and she was supposed to appear before the Delhi officials today. A close source informed a leading daily that the actress did not show up at the ED office for her questioning.

The source informed that Jacqueline was supposed to show up today afternoon, but she skipped. Officials are now going to find out about her location and the reason for not showing up. The source also revealed that the line questioning today was going to be in connection with a purported transaction that may have taken place between Jacqueline and Sukesh Chandrasekhar.

Earlier, the ED officials had shared in a statement that Sukesh Chandrasekhar is the mastermind of this fraud. He has been a part of the crime world since the age of 17. He has multiple FIRs against him, and he is currently in the Rohini jail. Also, the reports suggest that Sukesh was in touch with Jacqueline through calls and messages, and the ED is looking forward to questioning the Roy actress about the same.

Sukesh Chandrasekhar has over 20 other cases of extortion filed against him, and he even operated a racket from inside his jail cell. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) also raided the residence of Sukesh’s associate, Leena Maria Paul. He is suspected of her involvement in the case. Sukesh Chandrashekhar, his wife Leena, four other associates of him, and few jail officials were also arrested by the Delhi Police’s Economic Offences Wing.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Jacqueline Fernandez’s film which also starred Saif Ali Khan was released recently. She will be seen Bachchan Pandey alongside Akshay Kumar. Jacqueline Fernandez also has Kick 2, Ram Setu, Cirkus, and Attack in her kitty.
