In the midst of his rekindled romance with Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck says, “It is a very happy time in my life.”

Ben Affleck spilled about how wonderful his life has been lately ahead of the premiere of his new film The Last Duel. Following JLo’s split from Alex Rodriguez, Affleck and Lopez sparked rumors of a rekindled romance in May. After months of speculation, the couple confirmed their relationship on Lopez’s birthday, when she shared a cozy photo of the two on Instagram. Ben stated that he is currently in a very positive place in an interview with Extra TV, mentioning that he is happy and having a wonderful time in his life.

Ben appears to be head over heels in love with his on-again girlfriend Jennifer Lopez, whom he was last seen holding hands with at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood on Sunday for a screening of his new film The Tender Bar. Affleck and Lopez began dating in 2002 after meeting on the set of the film Gigli, and they married the following year. They called off their September 2003 wedding just days before it was to take place, and they split up in January 2004.

At the Venice premiere of The Last Duel in September, the couple made their first red carpet appearance in 18 years. Messages from all over Hollywood and beyond being all over the social media, complimenting them on how cute they looked, and it meant the world to both Affleck and Lopez. Ben told the publication that all he can say is that he has seen firsthand the difference that representation makes because he closely observed Jennifer and tell her how much her example as a strong woman who succeeds and demands her fair share in the business world means to them.

They’ve traveled to Italy and New York, where they’ve put on some spectacular public displays of affection. They’re also planning to spend time together over the holidays. Last week, the couple was pictured taking a romantic stroll in New York City, and the photos perfectly reflected Ben and Lopez’s happy phase. An Insider from US Weekly last month said that They’re so in love, and it’ll only be a matter of time before they get married.
