Huma Qureshi Drops The Poster Of Her Hollywood Debut, Zack Synder’s Army Of The Dead

Actor Huma Qureshi is all set to make her Hollywood debut with Zack Synder’s upcoming film Army of dead. The film is slated to release on May 14, 2021, on Netflix.

Huma Qureshi is a popular Bollywood actor known for her films Jolly LLB 2, Gangs of Wasseypur and Baldapur. She has often surprised her fans by portraying experimental characters in all of her films.  After being a part of several Bollywood films, Huma Qureshi is all set to make her debut in Hollywood. She shared the poster of her upcoming film titled Army of the Dead. Huma Qureshi took Instagram to release the poster of her film, which will be released on Netflix.

The film completed its shoot in 2019 and makers had been wanting to release the film in theatres, across the world. However, keeping in mind the ongoing Pandemic, makers decided to release the film on Netflix on May 14, 2021. In the film, Huma Qureshi will be seen playing the role of a mother to an estranged daughter. In the poster released on Huma Qureshi’s Instagram, the actor is seen holding a knife in her hand, with an intense look on her face. Along with the picture, she wrote in the caption, “Another reason to stay at home”, indicating people to stay safe amid the Pandemic.

The upcoming Hollywood film was earlier released in theatres, but the lockdown was implemented again and thus the makers decided to release it on OTT. The film also stars Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Ana de la Reguera, Theo Rossi, Matthias Schweighöfer, Nora Arnezeder, Hiroyuki Sanada, Tig Notaro, Raúl Castillo, Samantha Win, Michael Cassidy, Richard Cetrone, and Garret Dillahunt in the lead and supporting roles. Army of the Dead marks Zack Synder’s debut in the digital world. The film also brings him back to the zombie genre after 17 years. His film Dawn of the Dead released back then, marking his breakthrough. The trailer of Army of the Dead which released earlier featured some action sequences making sure the audience will be sitting on the edge of their seats while watching.
