Actress Himani Shivpuri recently voiced her thoughts on the repercussions of the pandemic, primarily the financial losses and troubles she endured due to being an artist.

Himani Shivpuri has starred in popular Bollywood films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon and more. The actress has played diverse roles, ranging from serious to comical, throughout her time in the entertainment industry. She recently shared her thoughts on the impact that the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown had on her life. Speaking about it, Shivpuri revealed that she did not have substantial savings or a reliable source of income when everyone had to stay under lockdown.

Himani Shivpuri added that the last year resulted in considerable financial losses for her, which made it tough for her to run her household. According to the actress, stars and actors who are established and successful in their Bollywood careers have also undergone similar struggles due to the pandemic. Needless to say, struggling artists in the industry went through very tough times too.

Himani Shivpuri also appealed to the masses to understand the severity of COVID-19. She hoped people would take it seriously and stay home, to keep everyone safe, including themselves. She also added that she believes things will start getting better soon and people will resume their work as well, resulting in a smoother and stable income flow for them.
