Sayantika has chanced upon one of the most fun, yet challenging ways to work out in a new style called Tabata. She captions the post on her social media page with, “LET’S DO SOME T-A-B-A-T-A
Researching and Experimenting some New Forms and Routines this Quarantine. Tabata= Advanced HIIT = Killer… Try it out…✌🏻🥊🏋️‍♂️💪🏻 Here’s TABATA #Chapter1
Enjoy!!😉 I do not hold the copyright to this music….!! I challenge @rijstagram n @shiladitya_dextor to try it out…. #SundayMotivation #FitnessFreak #Gymtime #Cardio #Tabata #HomeQuarantine #Covid19 #CoronaIndia #StayHomeStaySafe”

Clearly, Sayantika has done the research and groundwork on Tabata, which is a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) form of exercise. This means that one has to to short bursts of incredibly active movement, specifically for 20 seconds, then rest for 10 seconds, and then continue to move again for 20. This carries on for eight minutes until you are totally exhausted. This style was originally invented by Dr Izumi Tabata, a Japanese doctor and researcher, who conducted a study using the method to see if athletes could benefit from this particular pattern of movement. He found that they did, so you too should get up and try it! It requires no equipment and can easily be done at home in under 10 minutes, so join in with Sayantika, torch some serious fat, and build excellent strength and immunity!
