Following the announcement of shows like Honar Sun Mi Hya Gharchi, Jai Malhar and Tula Pahate Re, the channel has got yet another surprise package waiting for us all. The evergreen show Shriyut Gangadhar Tipre is all set to get a rerun on Zee Marathi soon. Yes, we aren’t kidding! The channel recently shared the news on Instagram which has come as a much-needed breather for everyone amidst their mundane lockdown routine.

Shriyut Gangadhar Tipre was a slice-of-life comedy-drama directed by Kedar Shinde. The show was based on Anudini, a novel written by Dilip Prabhavalkar who also won hearts for the role of Aaba in the show. Apart from Dilip, Rajan Bhise, Shubhangi Gokhale, Vikas Kadam, and Reshma Naik played other important characters in this iconic show. The show revolved around the aspirations of a typical middle-class Maharashtrian family who later became the most loved characters on TV. It also boasts of being a light-hearted comedy that can ideally be watched with your entire family to release tension caused by our monotonous lives during the lockdown. The excitement level of the fans has gone through the roof since the news broke out. It is certainly one of the most anticipated TV shows to have a rerun. The show will go on air every Monday to Saturday starting from June 15 at 7: 30 pm only on Zee Marathi.
