The Boogie-Woogie trio get candid and tell us about the old times and fun they had on set.

The famous trio Jaaved Jaafery, Naved Jaferi and Ravi Behl from the 90s reality show Boogie-Woogie are back for an interview together. From the need to create Boogie Woogie to playing who is most likely to, the trio made us all nostalgic again.

Watch the interview here:

When asked why they chose to create a dance reality show during the time when it wasn’t even popular, Ravi said that all three of them were always fond of dance and they saw that there was no platform for dancers. He added that none of them had any idea about production when they started producing the dance reality show. Initially it was quite hard but they worked harder and everything fell into place.

They revealed that the show was totally unscripted. Naved said that the best part about the show was the audience that was present on the set at that time. They used to be very organic and interact with the audience while being among them. Jaaved Jaaferi added that the attitude is very important in a reality show. They did not insult any contestant as they believed that the contestants are the main highlight of the show. They said instead of criticising, the three of them guided the contestants onto the write path.

In a fun segment of who is most likely to, Ravi said that Naved will most likely start dancing to any song without any thought whereas Jaaved would wait for his favourite song and then show his moves. While Naved was named as the latecomer on set, Javed was revealed to be the one who cracked the lamest jokes. Rajkummar Rao wrote a very heartwarming note which read, “I am really want to thank them for accepting m as a contestant. It is because of these auditions that I came to Mumbai for the first time at the age of 17.”
