Bollywood News: Akshay Kumar Starts Shooting For Ram Setu In Ayodhya

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has lately been in the news for his next film which has been titled Ram Setu. The film recently went on floors in Ayodhya and updates from the set were put up on Akshay Kumar’s social media handles. He posted a picture from the Muhurat Pooja which haD a few portraits of Lord Rama, as Ayodhya is considered to be his birthplace. The female leads of the film, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez were also seen at the shooting location with the rest of the team. Akshay Kumar had also previously announced that the film is being directed by Abhishek Sharma and is expected to hit the theatres in Diwali 2021.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar recently took to social media to announce that the Ram Setu team is off to Ayodhya to start shooting for it. Akshay Kumar had also shared a picture on his official Twitter handle, where he could be seen posing at the entrance of the flight with the two leading ladies of the film. He stated that the film is quite special and they are now travelling for the Muhurat shot. In the candid picture, he was seen speaking with the two female actors while they all had a bright smile across their faces.

In another post, Akshay Kumar shared a picture from the Muhurat Pooja where a portrait of Lord Ram and Sita had been decorated with a flower garland. A few pandits had surrounded the place while a clapboard with the film’s name ‘Ram Setu’ had been placed amidst the Pooja equipment. In the caption for the post, he wrote that they are starting off the shoot with the blessings of Lord Rama. Akshay Kumar had previously visited Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath to seek permission to shoot in Ayodhya.
