Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt has currently signed a lot of films and is caught up with her shoot schedule. According to the latest reports, Alia got hospitalized as her health deteriorated. She got a discharge within a day’s time. Read further to know more about what happened to the actor.

Alia Bhatt hospitalised due to exertion at work

Actor Alia Bhatt is currently shooting for her upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi in Mumbai. On Sunday, January 17, the actor lost consciousness as fainted on the set of the movie. She was immediately rushed to the H.N. Reliance hospital. However, she got a discharge within a day’s time and resumed shooting from Monday. No other details were given by the cast and crew of the film. Alia’s Gangubai Kathiawadi was supposed to be shot last year but the shoot got postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The film was scheduled to release in September 2020 but will now be released in Diwali 2021.

Gangubai Kathiawadi will be a biographical crime film based on a chapter of Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai about Gangubai Kothewali. Gangubai is the madam of the brothel in Kamathipura in Mumbai. The film is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It features actors like  Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, and Seema Pahwa playing supporting roles. Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, and Huma Qureshi will be seen in special cameo roles.

Apart from Gangubai Kathiwadi, Alia Bhatt will also be seen in Ayan Mukherjee‘s Bramhastra. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni in pivotal roles. The film will be the first part of the trilogy. The film is shot in various places like Bulgaria, New York, London, Scotland, and Varanasi in India. The release date was scheduled to be December 2020 but has now been postponed.

Alia will also be seen in S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR. The film stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, and Olivia Morris. The teaser of the film is already out and it received a great response from the audience.
