Akshay Kumar Urges Fans To Contribute Towards Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir Project; Shares Video

Superstar Akshay Kumar often speaks about social issues publicly. From spreading awareness about a certain issue to sharing his opinions, the actor does not shy away from speaking his mind. He recently addressed the issue of collecting funds for building a massive Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The actor narrated a short story and explained people the importance of building the temple and carrying forward the legacy of Lord Ram.

The story of Lord Ram and Raavana’s war, the epic Ramayana is known to everyone. Lord Ram’s wife, Sita was abducted by Sri Lankan king, Raavana. To save his wife, Lord Ram travelled through water and entered Sri Lanka. The monkey army, (Vaanar Sena) took help of rocks to build a path for Lord Ram and his army to travel to Sri Lanka. Akshay Kumar narrated a short instance which took place during this time and said that while Lord Ram’s Vaanar Sena was building a path, Lord Ram was watching everything keenly, from the shore.

That’s when Lord Ram noticed a little squirrel’s activity. The squirrel would enter the sea and come back to the shore. She would roll in the sand and go back to the stones which were being used to build the path. Lord Ram was quite surprised to see the squirrel’s activity and asked her why she was doing this. To this, the squirrel replied that she was going into the sea to wet herself and she would run the shore to let the sand stick to her body. With the sand which stuck to her body, she would fill in the gaps on the rocks which were used to build the path. Lord Ram was quite happy and surprised with the little animal’s efforts and dedication.

Using the example of the little squirrel, the actor explained that we can be squirrels and contribute in building the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, according to our abilities. He said that he will be the first one to contribute for this renowned project and urged his fans to do the needful too and contribute for the future generation to know about Lord Ram and his legacy.
