Kamal Haasan, the president of Makkal Needhi Maiam and an actor, announced on Monday that he had tested positive with COVID-19 and had been hospitalised to a hospital.

“Following my return from the United States, I developed a minor cough. The coronavirus infection was confirmed when I tested. In the hospital, I’ve isolated myself. The COVID-19 spread has not faded, therefore everyone should be cautious “Kamal sent out a tweet.

Because the pandemic is still present, Kamal, who recently celebrated his 67th birthday, urged people to keep safe and take precautions.

The actor has been working on a number of projects. He is presently presenting the fifth season of Bigg Boss Tamil, a popular reality show. He has just revealed that his new brand, KH House of Khaddar, will enter the fashion market.

The southern star will appear in the Tamil action thriller ‘Vikram,’ which is set to hit theatres on March 31, 2022. Vijay Sethupathi plays a pivotal role in ‘Vikram.’ In the film, Kamal is supposed to be playing the character of a copy.
