The series explores the sweet relationship of a daughter and mother-in-law while also depicting a beautiful love story. Sweetu and Omkar are ‘polar opposites’ who find love in each other and are planning to get married. When Sweetu’s father caused a ruckus at Omkar’s house party, he (Omkar) did not insult or humiliate Sweetu for this. Instead, he stood by her side and consoled her. His comforting words made Sweetu feel better and that’s exactly what a life partner should do.

If you’re looking for a life partner, it is of prime importance that they respect your family. That is exactly what Omkar is like, he sincerely respects Sweetu’s family irrespective of their financial situation and even calls her mother ‘maushi’.
