It takes a lot of talent and skill to put up a comic act. Bhau Kadam has these qualities and more as a comedian in Zee Marathi’s hit entertainment show Chala Hawa Yeu Dya. We look at some of his best acts starting with this one where he portrayed Rohini Hattangadi’s character Amba from Chaalbaaz.

In the episode which saw Rohini as a guest star, the team put up a parody on Bollywood film Chaalbaaz, in which Bhau played Rohini’s character like a pro! From the costume to the mannerisms, everything about his act was top notch. Check out the episode here.

One episode saw Tula Pahate Re’s Subodh Bhave and Gayatri Datar as guest stars and the team put up a parody on the show. Bhau played Subodh’s character Vikram from the show and left the audiences in splits. He makes an entry with a bodyguard behind him and when asked about the same he says, “I was caught taking money out of the ATM,” and the bodyguard adds, “People take out money by using their cards, he tried to do the same by using a wire!” Watch this hilarious episode here.

The recent episode featuring guest celebrity Suchitra Bandekar, saw the cast members putting up a skit on popular Bollywood film Jo Jeeta Woh Sikandar. Bhau’s entry as Shyam was hilarious and at one point he picked up a bunch of dried leaves and flung them in the air, to add a dramatic touch to his act. But he was reminded that the pile isn’t of leaves but is of garbage!

The cast of CHYD honoured their celebrity guest Ramesh Deo and put up an act on one of his famous Marathi films which featured the veteran actor. In the act, Bhau played a patient and left everyone gasping for breath with his flirtatious behaviour with the nurse. Don’t miss it, check out here.

In an episode featuring Kashmira Pardeshi and Abhinay Berde, Bhau played the character of Rocky, an aspiring hero. In a scene with fellow comedian Shreya Bugde, he tried his hand at impressing her and saying that he has worked in Hollywoodus” (Hollywood) and that he has directed Jurrasic Park. He adds saying, “There was crazy amount of work. I had to feed the dinosaurs, milk them, bathe them etc, etc.” Haha! Watch the episode here.
