Karenjit Kaur: The Untold Story of Sunny Leone is a two-season long biopic series on the rollercoaster journey of Sunny Leone’s life. The ZEE5 original walks through every step of the passage that Sunny went through. The web drama traces her story starting from a middle-class Sikh girl Gogu to the bold Karen who entered the world of adult entertainment as Sunny and finally becoming full-blown celebrity brand Sunny Leone.

To put simply, it is perhaps the becoming of Sunny Leone and probably the unbecoming of Karenjit Kaur Vohra. One person who contributed a major part in this tumultuous but sensational sojourn is Sunny’s husband and business partner Daniel Weber. The makers roped in South African model Marc Buckner to portray Daniel in the digital project.

2. Before Marc, Daniel Was The Initial Choice To Play Himself In The Series

Not Marc, but Daniel Weber himself was the original choice for the crucial character. However, Weber turned it down citing he couldn’t commit that many days for the shoot. He told a leading tabloid, “I gave it a thought initially. But I felt it would be better if I could use my time more efficiently working on the things I do on a day-to-day basis with our companies [than act].” Further adding, “I thought it wouldn’t be a great idea to commit 60-90 days of shooting, when I have so many other things to handle.”

One closer look and you’ll know what we are saying! Daniel revealed to a tabloid about Marc Buckner saying, “The team did look tests and screen tests in Cape Town, and roped in Marc. Right now, Marc is trying his best to understand the script. A major part of his work
includes dialogue training. Funnily, he is trying to ape my tattoos as well.”

Marc seems like a popular name in South Africa and the modelling circuit. He has graced the covers of leading magazines and even shot for various international brands. Besides, those sultry looks are to die for. *sigh*
