They say revenge is a dish best served chilled. ZEE5 original Poison is all about a man’s undying thirst for revenge, vengeance, and power. Starring Arbaaz Khan, Tanuj Virwani, Freddy Daruwala and Riya Sen in the lead roles, the web drama carries a theme of destroying your enemies in an unthinkable way, just to get even. Directed by Jatin Waghle, Poison is packed with all the elements to keep you on the edge of your seat, biting your nails as you progress through the episodes.

One of these elements being its hard-hitting dialogues. Arbaaz who plays the baddie Antonio Verghese has quite a few punches!

Actor Tanuj Virwani plays Ranveer Shrivastav, a man who is wrongfully convicted for the rape and murder of his wife Mary. The 11-episodes revolve around how he gets back at those who destroyed his life, including face-offs with those who didn’t.

Apna Sapna Money Money star Riya Sen plays Natasha Bansal in Poison. She essays the role of Arbaaz’s secretary, torn between her love for a police officer and her loyalty to a drug mafia.

Freddy Daruwala, star of movies like Race 3, Commandao 2, Holiday amongst others, portrays a cop in the series. His character Vikram Singh is onto Antonio Verghese when another problem comes his way in the form Ranveer Shrivastav.

Hatred, sex, violence, blood splashes, and gruesome action dominate the narrative of Poison. So much so that the rage of revenge can be felt beyond the screens.
